Suffolk Wool Towns Farms Cluster is a group of committed land managers who are producing quality food in a sustainable, climate friendly and resilient way.
We are working together across a historic landscape to tackle some of the most urgent environmental challenges: biodiversity loss, water polluation and air quality. We are doing this by transfering and sharing knowledge and expertise gained under the CSFF DEFRA funded grant within the cluster on a one-to-many basis.

The Suffolk Wool Town Farms cluster was founded in November 2021 by a group of neighbouring farmers who were keen to explore how they might work collaboratively to enchance the natural environment on a scale not possible if working alone. Between 2022 and 2025 we were supported by a DEFRA CSFF grant. This funding allowed SWTF cluster to transfer and share knowledge and expertise with cluster members on a one-to-many basis.
The cluster now involves 27 farmers managing more than 10,000 ha of land and sharing a vision to enhance quality food production, support biodiversity and the care for the local environment through collaboration and partnerships with a range of organisations.

Enhancing production, biodiversity, and farming knowledge to better the local environment.
